The Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili attended as a special guest the “Russian breakfast that was held in Davos as part of the annual World Economic Forum. Georgian Prime Minister was introduced to the Russian businessmen by the head of Sberbank German Gref.
Ivanishvili delivered an address to the Russian businessmen. “He talked about the changes in Georgia and assured us that Georgia is interested in Russian investment, and the country is open for cooperation,” said the owner of the Russian company Wimm-Bill-Dann, Davit Iakobashvili. In this connection Iakobashvili expressed satisfaction with Georgia’s new position on the settlement of relations with Russia, noting that this policy will soon bear fruit. “This, of course, will have an impact on the growth of economic relations between the two countries,” he said.
