Great Britain is beleaguered by multiculturalism
Context:

Not so long ago it became known that the leader of the radical Islamists in London, Mustafa Kamal Mustafa, who is better known as Abu Hamza al-Masri, was deported from the UK to the U.S.A where he faced the trial. This has followed years of litigation by the British authorities with Abu Hamza’s lawyers. And only in October the European Court of Human Rights drew a line under this issue.

If a poll for the best asylum had been conducted among political refugees, the Old England would have taken first place in Europe. In this case an overwhelming amount of odious political figures who have found refuge in the UK are from Russia. It just so happened, that wanting to annoy Moscow, London for the last ten years has given refuge to a considerable number of Russian “refugees”. It is sufficient to list big names such as Berezovsky, Litvinenko, Zakayev, to understand that this state of things is not just the results of the policy of “multiculturalism” but a purposeful confrontation against Russia. But more importantly, London itself became a victim of such a policy, which is clearly demonstrated by the case of the known Islamic preacher.

In 1979, at the age of 21, Mustafa Kamal Mustafa, the son of an officer from Alexandria, came to study in the UK. In London, Mustafa found a job of a bouncer at a strip club, and continued his studies at Brighton Polytechnic College. The new place of residence made an indelible impression on the Arab student’s immature mentality. An abundance of entertainment and carnal pleasures in the British capital was like a paradise. However, as it turned out, not everyone can afford such pleasures, and maybe disappointed in the inaccessibility of life of idleness, the future Islamic preacher plunged into the study of the Koran, while not losing interest in real life. By marriage to a British woman he received British citizenship, but he soon divorced her to get married again after a while. This time to a Muslim woman of Moroccan origin, who gave birth to seven children.

From the mid 1980s to mid 90s, Mustafa fought in Afghanistan, where finally strengthened in the faith, and received the battle nickname Abu Hamza al-Masri. His appearance changed too: he lost both his arms and his left eye, as he claims, as a result of careless handling of explosives. The radical Islamist dignified this shortcoming; by attaching to the right stump a colorful hook he has strengthened his image as a fighter against the pernicious influence of Western culture. From this point on Abu Hamza began work as a preacher. The destruction of the infidels, the global jihad and the construction of an Islamic Caliphate – these are the slogans that were quickly perceived by unemployed and slouching about immigrant youth, and CDs, brochures and books with radical content began to bring a lot of money. Becoming an imam of a London mosque in Finsbury Park, London, Abu Hamza many times expanded his flock. Brother-in-arms from around the world came to him. In particular Basayev’s emissaries visited him too.

The British authorities taking care for cultural and religious diversity first looked at all this through their fingers. However, the situation began to change after the events of September 11, 2001 in the U.S., when it emerged that some of the cultural features, together with the free interpretation of separate pieces of the Koran yield very unpleasant results. After carrying out an investigation Abu Hamza was forbidden to preach in mosque. However, it did not stop him – the Egyptian began to preach directly in the streets of London, which attracted the attention of special services.

In 2004, he was arrested, and in 2006 was sent to prison for 7 years. However, it wasn't quite the end of it. In the peak of the war against terror, FBI actively sought terrorists world-wide, and personality of Abu Hamza could not go unnoticed for the U.S. department. In the U.S., he was charged with having assisted the terrorists on 11 counts. The next step was to be deportation. But here there was a nuance, of which the preacher’s lawyers took advantage: The UK does not deport suspects to countries where they face the death penalty. This litigation cases lasted until October 2012, when, at last, the European Court of Human Rights came to the conclusion that death penalty does not threaten Abu Hamza overseas, so the trip to the U.S. he is not contra-indicated for him.

It seemed that the British authorities could breathe freely, but nothing of the kind occurred. Independent journalistic investigations have revealed interesting facts about the Islamic radical’s stay on British soil, which questioned the policy of London as a hospitable host for the politically persecuted guests.

As it turned out, the state regularly allocated money to Abu Hamza for litigation with himself. According to estimates of the British journalists, taxpayers paid almost a million pounds to the preacher’s lawyers. It turned out immediately that his wife lives in a small five-room mansion in west London. Housing at an estimated cost of another million pounds has been given her for free. What is most interesting is that it is almost impossible to evict her from there by British laws.

The situation turned out delicate. It is obvious that the British government should change migration policy, but at the same time, many migrants have long become part of this government’s policy. Official London sometimes puts ordinary taxpayers’ wallets in favor of its foreign policy aspirations. Paraphrasing Shakespeare, it can be said: something rotten in the state of England.
