Journalists have Found Out the Location of a Secret CIA Prison

10.12.2011 13:11

Journalists of the American Associated Press news agency and the German Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper in the course of a journalistic investigation have found out the location of one of the secret CIA prisons in Bucharest, Romania.

According to journalists, the building is located in a busy residential area, just a short drive from downtown. Former employees of the CIA helped to clarify it. They said the prison under the code name “Bright Lights” operated under the guise of the Office of National Register for Secret State Information (ORNISS), which stores documents of the EU and NATO. Representatives of the very institution categorically deny that their building had ever been used for detention of people suspected of involvement in terrorist acts.
